This year’s Nice–Cannes Marathon was nothing short of extraordinary for Cancer Support Group 06. What unfolded on the course was more than a sporting event – it was a moving display of community, compassion, and collective strength.
We were honoured to have 9 relay teams and 46 runners representing CSG06, each one running with determination and a shared belief at the heart of our mission: no one should have to face cancer alone.
Even with a shorter fundraising window this year, our community rallied together with incredible generosity. Thanks to the dedication of our runners and the support of donors near and far, we reached our ambitious €15,000 fundraising goal. This achievement goes far beyond numbers — it directly supports the emotional, psychological, and practical services we offer to individuals and families affected by cancer throughout the region.
A special thank you goes to our Team Captains, whose leadership and commitment brought each team to life. Your efforts ensured that every runner felt supported and ready to take on the challenge — we are deeply grateful.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Ma Nolan’s, who welcomed us for a fantastic afterparty, making the celebration truly memorable, and to Spectrum for their ongoing support and encouragement throughout the event — your contributions helped make this day a success.
To our runners, donors, supporters on the sidelines, and all those cheering from home: thank you. Your belief in our work keeps us going, and your contribution helps us continue offering free, essential support to anyone navigating cancer.
💛 From all of us at CSG06, thank you for relaying hope.
We invite you to browse our photo album from the day – and relive some of the joy, determination, and solidarity that made this marathon truly unforgettable.
